Reverse Proxy

 first lets know what is forward proxy, which is also known as proxy, proxy server, or web proxy.it is something which is kept in between group of client devices and the web server. whenever the clients want to access/request some site the proxy server comes in the middle and communicates with the web server on behalf of client. 

the forward proxy does not allow the original web servers to communicate with clients, but in case of reverse proxy the process is reverse as it does not allow the clients to communicate with the original web servers
